White House officials outlined President Donald Trump’s campaign travel through September, and Colorado did not get mentioned on the initial list.
Trump will attend at least 24 campaign events in as many as 15 states in the next six weeks to support U.S. Senate, U.S. House and gubernatorial candidates, the administration sources told The Colorado Sun and other reporters Tuesday.
The travel is subject to change, but for now, the itinerary indicates that Trump will remain on the sidelines of Colorado’s governor’s race, in which Walker Stapleton has said he would welcome the president to campaign with him.
