Join The Colorado Sun for the Colorado Attorney General Democratic Candidate Forum. The event will take place at Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at The University of Denver on June 10, 2026.

Colorado Sun Elections Editor Jesse Paul and Assistant Editor Editor Brian Eason will ask Democratic candidates questions before the June 30 Primary Election for Colorado Attorney General. Entravision News Anchor Rafael Contreras will join them as a co-moderator.

Democratic candidates who will be at the forum include:

Jena Griswold, Colorado Secretary of State, has not confirmed her participation in the forum.

The forum will be free to attend, but registration is required.

Join The Colorado Sun for the Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Forum. The event will take place at Colorado State University on June 13 at 10 a.m. inside the Lory Student Center.

Colorado Sun elections editor Jesse Paul will ask gubernatorial Democratic candidates questions ahead of the June 30 Primary Election. Entravision News Anchor Rafael Contreras will join them as a co-moderator.

The forum will be free to attend, but registration is required.

We invited the Republican gubernatorial candidates to a similar forum but did not receive enough commitments to hold it. There will be no forum for this primary race.

Important things to know before the event:

  • There will be security at the event, and metal detectors for attendees to go through before entering the LSC Theater. 
  • Please do not bring bags / purses bigger than a wallet-sized clutch. Bigger items will not be prohibited into the LSC Theater.
  • Hard-sided water bottles will also not be prohibited into the LSC Theater. Guests can bring crushable water bottles however.
  • Signs of any kind will be prohibited inside the LSC Theater.
  • Disruptions of the event will not be condoned.

Meet people who train burros, the history of the sport and the secret to running with these intelligent and very stubborn creatures.  

Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event starts at 7 p.m.
