Colorado has a major shortage of homes. The supply crunch has put the American dream of homeownership out of reach for thousands of middle class families, and left a majority of tenants paying more in rent than experts consider affordable.

We’ll chat with a panel of housing professionals from the Front Range to the mountains about the state of housing in Colorado. How did we get here? What actions have state and local governments taken that will help? And what future policies should state and local officials consider to address the remaining barriers to affordable home ownership and renting?

Colorado Sun Politics and Policy Reporter Brian Eason, Colorado Sun Team Editor David Krause, and Colorado Sun Education Reporter Erica Breunlin will moderate.
AARP Colorado and Brothers Redevelopment, Inc. are sponsors of this panel.
