Ann Marie Vanderveen is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where she was an editor and reporter for the CU Independent. Her work has appeared in the Boulder Daily Camera and she was a contributor to “Upheaval Across America," a project of News21 at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix. She is currently a staff writer at The Journal in Cortez.
