Longmont police made an arrest in the shooting Wednesday of a U.S. Postal Service worker.
Devan Schreiner, the 26-year-old ex-girlfriend of the victim, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. She was booked into the Boulder County jail.
Authorities have not identified the man who was killed in the shooting, but KCNC-TV reports his name was Jason Schaefer. He was shot in front of a group of neighborhood mailboxes in southwest Longmont on Wednesday afternoon.
