Tyler Hickman
Tyler has spent the last three years reporting on the environment, culture and local government in Colorado. Most recently, he spent time as a staff reporter and photographer for Boulder Weekly, where he covered the rapidly growing city of Longmont and the communities that make it one of the most diverse and unique cities on the Front Range.
His photography and reporting have brought him across the world, earning awards from the Solutions Journalism Network, Society of Professional Journalists and Planet Forward. His work can be found in Boulder Weekly, Boulder Reporting Lab and Planet Forward, where he spent a year covering hyper local sustainability initiatives while working towards a Master’s in Journalism at CU Boulder.
