Bryan Jones is the Regional Policy Coordinator for Backcountry Hunters & Anglers covering Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. Born and raised in Colorado with a love for the outdoors, Bryan developed a natural inclination for hunting and fly-fishing. After high school Bryan joined the United States Marine Corps as a Navigator/Tactical Systems Operator aboard KC-130 aircraft. After serving 10 years, Bryan left the service and completed his bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management from American Military University. He served as a Ranch Manager in Texas for several years before joining the Texas Wildlife Association as the Operations Coordinator for the organization’s youth and adult mentored hunting programs for seven years.

Before joining BHA, Bryan worked as the Natural Resource & Agriculture Specialist and Operations Supervisor for Arapahoe County Open Spaces in the front range of Colorado. Additionally, Bryan serves as an instructor and board member for the Texas Brigades; an organization that focuses on youth leadership development and natural resource education. He has also recently graduated with his Masters of Natural Resource Stewardship degree from Colorado State University.
