Who needs more whimsy this weekend? Trick question. Everyone. Answer: WonderCrawl. This neighborhood party in Fort Collins brings together businesses, artists, musicians and giant puppets to the River District for a full afternoon of strange celebrations. 

There’s also an artsy building takeover in Telluride, an artsy town takeover in Green Mountain Falls, and free climbing at Movement Gyms for Global Climbing Day.

WonderCrawl. Browse the artists and farmers markets along Willow Street then catch live music in the courtyard at Wolverine Farm Publick House. Local brewer Hello Brew Company will have a special WonderCrawl West Coast IPA on offer, and Perelandra Bookshop will host a used book sale. There will be risograph demonstrations and circus performers and a scrap metal sculpture competition. 

And did I mention the giant puppets? Puppet parade starts at 6:45 p.m. and wanders down Willow over to Smokestack Pottery. Everyone is welcome to join — costumes encouraged, no puppet required.
