Kent Thiry is the former CEO of DaVita, a healthcare company providing kidney care for patients with chronic kidney failure or end stage renal disease. He led the company from 1999 to 2019. He has been involved with nonprofits and civic groups focusing on economic mobility, education, the environment, democracy, healthcare and community leadership. Kent has been involved with the US Democracy Renewal Movement and has multiple ballot initiatives on the Colorado ballot.
