Dr. Talia Quandelacy is an infectious disease epidemiologist and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health. Her research aims to understand what aspects of the environment, pathogen biology, human immunity, and social factors drive infectious diseases to spread the way they do, and use this information to improve the timing and implementation of interventions like vaccinations. Her research focuses on making a positive impact on local, state, national and international public health practice through the use of surveillance data and methods development. 

She has collaborated with CDC, the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization and focuses much of her work in the Americas region.
