When: 3-4 p.m.
Where: SIE 1150 | First Floor
Moderator: Erica Breunlin, Brian Eason and David Krause
Colorado has a major shortage of homes. The supply crunch has put the American dream of homeownership out of reach for thousands of middle class families, and left a majority of tenants paying more in rent than experts consider affordable.
Join us for a panel of housing professionals from the Front Range to the mountains about the state of housing in Colorado. How did we get here? What actions have state and local governments taken that will help? And what future policies should state and local officials consider to address the remaining barriers to affordable home ownership and renting?
The director for state and local policy in Enterprise Community Partners’ Denver office, Kinsey Hasstedt crafts and oversees Enterprise’s policy agenda and advocacy to increase the supply of affordable homes and advance housing stability throughout Colorado. Enterprise is a nonprofit affordable housing developer and investor whose mission is to house families living on low or fixed incomes.
