Six Republicans are competing in the June 25 primary in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.

The GOP-leaning district spans Colorado’s Western Slope and stretches into Pueblo and southeastern Colorado. U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican, currently represents the district, but moved to Windsor and is running this year to represent the 4th Congressional District.

The winner of the GOP primary will face Democrat Adam Frisch, a former Aspen city councilman who lost to Boebert by 546 votes in 2022, in the Nov. 5 general election, as well as candidates from the Libertarian and Unity parties.

We asked the Republican candidates running in the 3rd District about their stances on some of the major issues. Our questions were informed in large part by responses to the Voter Voices 2024 survey. Candidates are listed in the order they appear on the ballot.

Responses were lightly edited for length and clarity. Candidates are listed in the order they appear on the ballot.
